And to pay for everything in between? Not hardly. We cannot really control our federal government's spending. Our politicians are corrupt and the special interests print money to keep them bought and paid for.

With the budget busted and the deficit starting with a capital "T" we must reduce spending. I suggest that every line of the budget be arbitrairily reduced precisely by one percent. Don't bother trying to figure out which programs get a big cut. Simply reduce everything by the same percentage. It's not rocket science.
